Barbie has had a few courses on how to drive a stick. This is the first time she’s driving the Volvo and she does quite well. It takes a second to get the Volvo running and then we go over where everything is at in the car. By the end of this first clip, we’re humming along down the road and she’s smiling from ear to ear. 🙂

Barbie Learning To Drive The Volvo / Brown Open Toed Wedge Sandals / Clip 1 Of 2
Shish is teaching Barbie to drive the Volvo shes had some lessons on driving a stick before. Barbie is wearing a red and white pinstripe long sleeve shirt, denim skirt, brown wedge sandals, the gas pedal fell off the pedal rod so Barbie has to work the gas with just the pedal rod it takes her close to two minutes to get the Volvo to start, had she used the choke she might have started it up sooner.
It appears she killed the battery Shish replaced the battery, Shish is using two cameras one looks like a mini cam that’s on the dashboard getting upper body and facial shots the other is a hand-held cam getting whole body shots and some footwell shots, now that Shish has replaced the battery Barbie turns the ignition key she cranks and pumps it some the engine starts right up. Barbie puts the gear shift in first she lets off the clutch she gives it a little gas the engine stalls on her, Barbie restarts the engine she lets off the clutch she only goes maybe a couple of feet Shish has her stop.
The reason Shish has her stop Barbie forgot to release the emergency brake, Shish tells her to push the button in and raise the emergency brake lever a little to release it she has to do this three or four times, it look like to me the emergency brake light on the dashboard wouldn’t go off when Barbie pushed the button in and lower the emergency brake lever.
Shish continues to give Barbie pointers on how to let off the clutch and give the engine gas Barbie learns really fast Shish tells her where the gears are she picks up on that really fast she shifts through first through fourth gear pretty fast, Barbie doesn’t go that far from the house she only goes down the street she turns around and heads back to the house, before she does this she has to make a left turn at the stop sign its on a bit of an incline she puts the gear shift in first she lets off the clutch she gives the engine some gas and shes on her way back to the house now that I think of it I don’t think the Volvo lurched at all when she let off the clutch.
Now that there back at the house Shish asks Barbie do you want to do it again, Barbie says yes Shish has her back up the Volvo Barbie doesn’t give it enough gas the engine dies on her she restarts the engine, Shish is still giving Barbie pointers on giving the engine more gas and letting off on the clutch, as this clip is coming to an end video from the camera on the dash is showing video from the beginning of the drive just when Barbie made a left turn and went down the street.
As the PTP logo pops up on the screen the cam on the dash is showing video from when Barbie turned the Volvo around in the driveway. What will clip two bring us? Will we see all upper body shots from the cam on the dashboard? Or will we see Barbie go on a another drive in the Volvo? We will have to wait and find out until then pleasant dreams. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
