Gem can’t drive a stick, so Brooke is the teacher in this video. She gives Gem a crash-course in how to start a manual transmission vehicle. This first clip is Brooke trying to start the Bug to show Gem what all is involved. Both girls are wearing a similar outfit: white top, jeans and cowgirl boots over jeans. Some great dialogue and if there was ever a perfect bouncer in the drives seat, it would be Brooke!

It’s cold damp and windy day the wind is howling Brooke and Gem just finish shooting a video in the jeep there back at Cassandra’s. Brooke is going to teach Gem how to start and drive the bug since Gem doesn’t know how to drive a stick-shift. Brooke gets in the drivers seat Gem is in the passenger seat as Shish is getting a mixture of whole body upper body video and footwell video from the passenger door window it’s rolled down part of the time and upper and footwell video from the drivers side and getting some video of the exhaust.
Now that’s all Brooke has to do is get the bug to start it rained earlier in the day theres a few sprinkles on the the windshield, the bug hasn’t been started in a wile. Brooke tells Gem about putting the gearshift in neutral and pushing down on the clutch as she tries to get the bug to start the engine doesn’t begin to sputter for about the first minute Brooke cranks and pumps the gas pedal quite a bit she might have flooded the carburetor a little bit, after about two minutes of cranking and pumping the bugs gas pedal Brooke gets the engine started she revs the engine getting the engine rpms up there pretty good for close to a minute before the engine dies on her she tries to let the engine idle when she does this the engine rpms go down pretty fast and the engine dies on her.
After the engine dies on her Brooke tells Gem that she has to put her left foot back on the clutch and make sure the gearshift is in neutral before Brooke goes back to cranking and pumping the bugs gas pedal. As the PTP copyright logo pops up on the screen Brooke and Gem change places Gem gets in the drivers seat Brooke is in the passenger seat now Gem is going to give it a try and see if she can get the bug to start. What will clip two bring us? Will Gem get the bug to start? If so will she be able to keep the engine running so Brooke can teach her how to drive a stick-shift?
