Some behind-the-scenes and leftover footage from custom 1345 of Jane cranking the old Volvo. We are trying to get the car to sound like what the script called for, which was a slower cranking from a weak battery. Sometimes, if you can’t get the battery to work for you because it’s too charged up and it’s not showing any signs of weakening soon from extended cranking, a last resort option in a manual car is to slowly let up on the clutch. There is a segment where I’m talking to Jane to tell her how to do it.
