She’s out getting the Caddy started as I gather equipment.
“Alright, lets see if we can get this bad boy going.” she says and pumps the big floor-mounted gas pedal a few times then twists the key. It doesn’t start. She tries again and it fires up on the second try. She’s sitting there, still waiting on me, so she fiddles with it trying to get it to stall out but it’s not stalling.
I finally get all the stuff loaded and get in the car to begin filming her from the passenger side. She’s telling me what she was doing earlier all while just steadily pumping on the gas. She looks at the camera with a big cheesy grin still pumping. I clear my throat to give her a hint to start the car because I don’t want it to back fire. Sure enough, the damn thing starts!
“I guess it wants to run today.” I tell her.
She backs out of the driveway and punches it to head down the road to park the car.
