She was finally able to get her nails done and is walking back to her car across the parking lot. She hops in, slides the key into the ignition and twists the key while giving the car some gas. Expecting it to start, she lets go pretty quickly but it didn’t start up. She pumps the gas some more, spins it over again but the car isn’t starting. After a few more tries where the car doesn’t start, she kicks off her Reebok’s. Her feet are sweaty and she keeps trying to start the car.
“Come on baby…” she says as her car just cranks over. She keeps trying and the car starts to sputter and chug like it wants to run. After fighting with it for a while, she finally wins and the car sputters to life. She revs it up and heads out, getting on that throttle when traffic will let her. The low-geared trans means the engine rpms are screaming when she’s doing a little over the speed limit. She doesn’t let up though, keeping those rpms high.
