Pepper Cranking The Mote-Carlo / Blue Vans
Its raining outside Pepper is showing her blue 1986 Chevy Monte-Carlo to a potential buyer she gives a brief history of the car. Pepper is wearing a red pullover shirt, blue jeans, blue vans, Pepper tells the potential buyer that the odometer doesn’t work and that the car has been sitting for a wile since it has been raining it might be a little hard to start.
Pepper gets in she tells the potential buyer its been sitting for a wile the drivers side door is open Scarlet is getting both upper body and footwell shots as Pepper tries to start the Monte- Carlo she pumps the gas pedal a few times to prime the carburetor she turns the key she doesn’t really pump the gas pedal at first after about 15 seconds pepper is cranking and pumping the gas pedal the engine doesn’t even so much as sputter, Pepper is talking through out the clip she grinds the starter two times in a row, pepper apologizes to the buyer for not being able to get the Mote-Carlo to start shes asks the buyer if he would like to get in on the passenger side of the car wile shes trying to get it started so the buyer can get out of the rain.
The buyer walks around the other side to get in, Scarlet gets some really great closeups of pepper’s feet as shes pumping the gas pedal after a couple of minutes she stops cranking she says to the buyer she will get out open the hood and see if she can see anything wrong. Pepper also says to the buyer if she can’t get it started shes going to take it to the junkyard as shes cranking and pumping, the camera fades when it comes back on Pepper closes the hood she gets back in she goes back to cranking and pumping the Monte-Carlo this time it sputters now and then about three maybe four times at the most, pepper keeps cranking and pumping for about another minute before giving up.
As pepper continues to crank the Monte-Carlo she tells the buyer how sorry she is that she can’t get the car to start the engine sputters a couple more times.
As the PTP logo pops up on the screen Pepper tells the buyer maybe we could try again. The End
