We’re back in the old VW Bus after getting gas and ready to go back to the house. Sometimes it’s gets a little testy when it’s hot and parked for a short bit, it floods out pretty easily. That is the case here as Vivian is cranking it a lot at the gas pump. She’s sweating a bit, in more ways the one and things go from bad to worse when suddenly the starter stops engaging entirely. She walks to the back to check the connection on the battery and thankfully, that fixed it. She gets it started after some more struggling and takes us home while driving and talking with me in her Reebok Princess sneakers and ankle socks.

As we continue from clip one Vivian has just filled the tank up with gas that’s all she has to do is get the bus to start, good luck on that with it being so hot outside the buses carburetor floods really easy. Vivian tires to get the bus to start the engine will not turn over. Vivian gets a little bit flustered after trying to get the bus started for about close to a couple of minutes she smells gas she thinks she flooded the carburetor, that she kills the battery.
Vivian gets out and changes batteries she’s glad she had a spare battery in the back she changes batteries, she tries to get the bus to start again the starter isn’t spinning, she gets out and adjusts the cables she gets back in the bus as Shish is getting whole, upper and footwell video as well as a wide angle video of the bus as she struggles to get the bus to start.
After close to five minutes Vivian gets the bus started and she tries making a right turn from the service station it’s a good thing she got the bus started when she did her feet must have been hot in those Reebok sneakers, traffic is heavy she’s had to wait close to a minute before she can make a right turn she’s driving the bus back to HQ. The drive goes with a hitch from this point forward. Vivian turns into the driveway and parks the bus next to the wooden deck.
