Lots and lots of bouncing, sputtering and flooded cranking in this clip. Vivian's on the phone telling Fallonn that she's on the way. In her hurry, she almost forgets the camera. She grabs it and heads out to be on her way. The video cuts to a low shot from the passenger floorboard looking up at Vivian begging her car to start as she's bouncing in the seat from pumping the gas. It looks like it's not going to start. Fortunately, she told Fallonn her issues and not long after, Fallonn shows up. Vivian grabs her things, again, and hops in Fallonn's big turbo-diesel truck. She wanted to take the Coronet to run some errands to get a little driving in with the old land barge. She starts the car and begins fiddling with the seat belt but doesn't pay attention to the engine and the car chugs out. She finally ignores the seat belt and tries starting the car again but it doesn't start. She tries it a few more times and it finally starts. She pulls out of the driveway and drives down the road to the gas station. After getting gas, she gets in the car and goes to start it but it doesn't start. It takes a few tries before starting up and she's on the road again. During our trip, we both start smelling coolant. The temperature gauge doesn't seem to work so I have her turn around and get home as quickly as possible without overheating the car even more. She gets the car back home before it got too bad. view more.

She gets in to take us out but can't get the old car started. She's having issues with the gas pedal coming off, so it's making it a little bit of a challenge to pump the gas the way she wants to get the car started. She reaches down to fix the pedal and after it comes apart twice, she decides to be a little easier on the pumping. Not having any luck on the incline, maybe it's so low on gas that it needs to be on level ground to get gas to the carb. She takes the parking brake off and pushes the clutch in and cranks it while it's rolling down the driveway to the back of the house where it's more level. After trying for a while, she ends up killing the battery. With the battery changed and the car having set for a bit, she gets back in to get it started and it finally starts! Yay!! She revs it up to clear it out before getting ready to leave for a second time. view more.

Driving back to HQ with a quickness until the gas pedal 'sticks' when she puts it in neutral to rev it up. Thinking it'll go away when she puts it back in drive, she changes gears but the rpms aren't coming down and the pedal is still stuck. I get her to put it back in neutral and to give the pedal a quick romp and that clears it up. In good time too because she has to quickly come to a stop at a stop sign...which the car stalls out on her. She cranks it for a while there, unable to get the car started. Maybe the sticky pedal has something to do with it? After some tries she manages to fire the engine again and makes it to HQ without further incident. view more.

This clip picks up where the first part left off, at the ass-end of the car looking at the exhaust. It's putting out some good smoke now as the girls crank and rev the car. Not long into this segment, Jane moves out of the drivers seat and goes around the car to get into the passenger seat so Britney can have a shot at starting and revving the car. The car is hard as hell to start, won't stay running and is dumping out thick white smoke from the tailpipe. The old Bug is having some kind of issue and won't start. She tried starting it last night to move it into a parking spot (another video) but it wouldn't start. So, she thought to let it sit overnight and try it again it again today but nope, still won't start...well, it'll kinda start but runs like a turd for a a little bit before stalling out. She's wearing open-toed sandals at first then kicks them off because it's easier to work the pedals with her bare feet. view more.

Not a good start to her day today. She gets in her mom's 1983 Ford Mustang to take it to run errands but she can't get it started. Did her mom try taking it this morning but flooded it? I kept this little adventure with Jenny uncut. She said she didn't know how to drive a stick but when talking with her, I found out she meant that she was taught once but hadn't driven since. She does good driving the car but like most girls, makes it more difficult for herself than it should be. I think this was a bit of an outtake scene while we were doing a custom where we wanted the car to be harder to start but it wouldn't cooperate the way we wanted it to. So I was having her play around with it to see if she could get it to flood out and then if it got flooded, could she get it started. She takes it as a challenge and manages to flood it out but is also able to get it started again and revs it hard to clear it out. view more.
